BLUETOOTH

One of the things that may cause conflicts for Bluetooth is that it uses the same frequency as the Wavelan standard. Another problem for Bluetooth is when there are a number of mobile devices in the same room, and possibly attempting the same operation. Since Bluetooth is omni-directional, it encounters problems in discovering the intended recipient device. Bluetooth devices must perform a discovery operation that will likely find many other devices in the same room. At this point, the user must choose the proposed recipient, which will require special information. Furthermore, Bluetooth has so many security mechanisms that it would have to carry out in order to prevent eavesdropping.
